Dr. Helena Marchetti is a classicist whose research focuses on archaic Greek poetry, cult practice, and the reception of myth in modern culture. She earned her Ph.D. in Classical Studies from the University of Edinburgh, where her dissertation examined ritual language in Hesiod's Theogony.
Before joining Old Greek Gods as lead editor, Helena taught undergraduate courses in Greek mythology and Latin literature for eight years and contributed to peer-reviewed journals on archaic religion and Homeric epic.
